Our Story

Migrate started with a much smaller problem: how do you make a Couch-to-5K-style plan feel like more than a downloadable schedule?

The answer kept expanding. A calendar was not enough. Athletes needed daily guidance, accountability, a coach they could reach, team calls, local meetups, virtual participation, milestones, a graduation event and a clear next step after the first finish.

Why the name Migrate?

A migration is movement toward a destination, often together. That became the metaphor for the entire system: athletes can start in different places and move at different paces while still heading somewhere together.

The MG identity also became a useful shorthand for Move. Grow. The point is not to stay inside one beginner program forever. The point is to move, grow and choose what comes next.

Why Team Migrate?

Migrate Endurance is the platform. Team Migrate is the community athletes actually join. That separation lets the platform eventually serve other coaches while Team Migrate remains its own coached endurance community.

Why Brooklyn Running Community?

Brooklyn already has excellent running clubs. Creating another club and pretending the others do not exist would add noise, not value. Brooklyn Running Community is intended as the wider local network: a place to discover runs, clubs, routes and events, while Team Migrate provides structured coached Programs for athletes who want more support.
