These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of TeamMigrate.com and Team Migrate programs, athlete accounts, training resources, events, coaching services, community features, and related services.
By using the Team Migrate website, creating an account, or registering for a Team Migrate program or service, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Team Migrate
Team Migrate provides endurance training programs, coaching, athlete resources, community activities, events, and related services.
Features and services may change as Team Migrate develops.
2. Eligibility and Athlete Accounts
Certain Team Migrate services require an athlete account.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating and maintaining your account and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and should notify Team Migrate if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
Accounts are intended for individual use and may not be transferred or shared unless Team Migrate expressly permits it.
3. Training Programs
Team Migrate programs may include:
- Training plans
- Individual workouts
- Modified workout options
- Coaching guidance
- Training emails
- Athlete check-ins
- Events and group activities
- Educational materials
- Community features
- Other training resources
Training plans and schedules may be modified when appropriate based on program needs, scheduling, athlete circumstances, weather, event changes, safety considerations, or coaching decisions.
Enrollment in a program does not guarantee any particular athletic result, race performance, finishing time, fitness improvement, or outcome.
4. Fitness and Medical Disclaimer
Physical training and endurance sports involve inherent risks.
Team Migrate training information and coaching are provided for general fitness, educational, and athletic purposes and are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
You are responsible for determining whether you are physically capable of participating in a Team Migrate program, workout, event, or activity.
You should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before beginning or significantly changing an exercise program when appropriate for your circumstances.
If you experience symptoms that may indicate a medical emergency or serious health concern, stop the activity and seek appropriate medical attention.
5. Assumption of Risk
Running, cycling, swimming, strength training, group workouts, races, and other endurance activities may involve risks including falls, collisions, traffic, weather, environmental conditions, equipment failure, physical exertion, dehydration, injury, illness, and other foreseeable or unforeseeable hazards.
By choosing to participate in these activities, you acknowledge that physical activity involves inherent risks.
Specific Team Migrate programs or events may require a separate waiver or release before participation. Any such waiver is separate from and supplements these Terms.
6. Athlete Responsibility
You are responsible for exercising reasonable judgment while participating in training.
You should modify, stop, or skip an activity when conditions make participation unsafe or when you are unable to perform the activity safely.
A training schedule should never be interpreted as an instruction to continue exercising despite injury, dangerous conditions, illness, or circumstances that make participation unsafe.
7. Events and Group Activities
Team Migrate may organize or promote group runs, rides, workouts, meetups, races, virtual sessions, or other events.
Event schedules, locations, routes, instructors, coaches, and other details may change.
Participants are responsible for following applicable laws, event rules, facility rules, traffic regulations, and reasonable safety instructions.
Some events may require separate registration, waivers, fees, or eligibility requirements.
8. Program Communications
Enrollment in a Team Migrate program may include communications necessary to administer that program, including training instructions, schedule information, reminders, event information, and important program announcements.
Optional promotional communications may be managed separately where applicable.
9. Payments, Fees, and Donations
Certain Team Migrate programs, services, or events may require payment or may be offered using a donation-based model.
Applicable prices, payment requirements, refund policies, or donation terms will be presented during registration or purchase when relevant.
Payments may be processed through third-party providers and may also be subject to the provider’s terms.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, charitable donations or payments made directly to an independent charitable organization are governed by that organization’s policies and may not be controlled or refundable by Team Migrate.
10. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms may vary by program, event, or service.
Any specific cancellation or refund policy displayed during registration will apply to that registration.
Team Migrate may cancel, postpone, relocate, or modify programs or events when reasonably necessary, including because of weather, safety concerns, insufficient participation, facility availability, circumstances outside our control, or other operational reasons.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, Team Migrate training plans, workouts, written materials, graphics, branding, website content, program structures, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to Team Migrate.
Materials provided through Team Migrate are intended for your personal use.
You may not reproduce, sell, republish, distribute, license, or commercially exploit Team Migrate materials without permission.
12. Community Conduct
When participating in Team Migrate community features, programs, or events, you agree to interact with other athletes, coaches, volunteers, and participants respectfully.
Team Migrate may restrict or terminate participation for conduct that threatens safety, disrupts programs, harasses others, abuses website features, involves fraud, or substantially interferes with the Team Migrate community.
13. Third-Party Services
Team Migrate may integrate with or link to third-party services, websites, races, fitness platforms, payment providers, or other resources.
Team Migrate does not control those third parties and is not responsible for their availability, content, policies, security, or performance.
14. Availability of Services
We work to keep Team Migrate services available and functioning, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Website features may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues, updates, security concerns, or circumstances outside our control.
We may add, modify, replace, or discontinue website features and services.
15. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, Team Migrate services and website content are provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every athlete or purpose.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Team Migrate and its owners, coaches, representatives, volunteers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of Team Migrate services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
17. Suspension or Termination
Team Migrate may suspend or terminate access to an account, program, event, or community feature when reasonably necessary because of violations of these Terms, safety concerns, fraudulent activity, abuse, or conduct that materially interferes with Team Migrate or its participants.
You may stop using Team Migrate services at any time, subject to any applicable program registration, cancellation, or payment terms.
18. Privacy
Your use of Team Migrate is also subject to the Team Migrate Privacy Policy.
19. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Team Migrate programs, services, and website features evolve.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision.
Continued use of Team Migrate after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to Team Migrate’s principal place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
